The Government spent R$ 429 million with IT services and equipment

The ministries and connected organs spent R$ 429 million with information technology services agreements and R$ 82 million with the acquisition of equipment.

Data reported in the preliminary study of the IT and Telephony Work Group, presented to the Secretary of SLTI, Rogerio Santana.

In the report also states the relation of the 15 largest suppliers of micros, servers, laser and ink jet printers, hard disk, switch, monitors, and no-break. According to the work group the prominent one was Novadata (HP), that sold R$ 41 million in laser printers to the Ministry of Health in 2002.
